READINESS ASSESSMENT FOR BIM-BASED BUILDING PERMIT PROCESSES USING FUZZY-COPRAS

نویسندگان

چکیده

With the recent technological advancement in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, building control authorities a number of countries are trying to integrate BIM into their permit processes. Nevertheless, considering involvement multiple stakeholders contexts, adopting any organization is challenging. The aim this research assess readiness for BIM-based processes using Fuzzy-COPRAS, criteria decision making (MCDM) method. In research, three municipalities were selected as alternatives twenty-five (categorized technology, people, process, policies) related identified from literature review. Then, part COPRAS method, weights determined based on importance level through expert evaluation. results study revealed most important processes, i.e., supporting open standards, compatibility with existing regulations codes, willingness employees, support top management, comprehensiveness code compliance checks. Finally, assessment demonstrated prepared alternative process status considered criteria. findings have practical implications and/or developing terms where focus efforts respect associated permits.

Building a fuzzy logic based tool for e-readiness measurement

Firstly, this paper presents fuzzy logic based approaches for building a tool for measuring ereadiness of a country. This paper proposes fuzzy logic for realizing the measuring tool as fuzzy logic allows processing of heterogeneous indicators and imprecise values assigned for them. The tool is constructed by using one or more fuzzy logic based inference engines. Secondly, due to the problems in...

A FUZZY MODEL FOR ASSESSMENT PROCESSES

The methods of assessing the individuals’ performance usually applied in practice are based on principles of the bivalent logic (yes-no). However, fuzzy logic, due to its nature of including multiple values, offers a wider and richer field of resources for this purpose. In this paper we use principles of fuzzy logic in developing a new method for assessing the performance of groups of individua...
